Tintype photography is right at home with Portland's unique and artistic vibe! Over the past two years, Kathryn and her partner Lucas taught themselves wet plate collodion (tintype) photography while living on a blueberry farm in their RV. They are enamored by this process and want to share it with you. This business, Sunroom Analog, is using the exact same process that was used in 1851!

When you book a session you will get your very own large-format metal plate (or plates) crafted by hand. They will be yours to keep and display for 150+ years!

Everyone comes away fascinated by this process. It's science, but it feels like magic! We will show you how it works and help you to experience the magic for yourself! Bring yourself, your partner, your pets, your kiddos! All are welcome.
